Summary: Seeking a Structural Mechanic III with expertise in structural assembly, riveting operations, and sheet metal fabrication for aircraft.
Job Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED required
4 years related structural assembly experience
Skilled in close tolerance work and use of special tools and equipment
Ability to work with composite resins and materials
Must be able to work any shift
Preferred Skills:
Experience working with Solumina and Smarteam preferred
Q-stamp preferred
Job Responsibilities:
Perform assembly, fitting of detail parts, drilling, and riveting operations ensuring parts meet requirements
Conduct sheet metal layout, fabrication, and installation on aircraft
Rivet structural members using required tools (e.g., portable riveting guns, pneumatic drills)
Remove fasteners without damaging structures
Read work orders, blueprints, lofts, sketches to determine sequence of operations
Maintain logs and records (e.g., MIR sheets, DMTs)
Align and assemble parts using jigs, holding fixtures, pins, clamps
Shape/form complex angles according to specifications
Make repairs per DMTs, MRRs, PCOs ensuring installations meet conformity
Properly collect/dispose of waste materials
Pay Details: $20.00 to $26.00 per hour
