Salary: $100,000 - $120,000 per year

We provide consultation for buildings of all types, sizes, and material systems using structural analysis and BIM software. We have extensive experience with healthcare, educational, institutional, recreational, commercial, hospitality, industrial, religious, and residential uses; and are equally adept at renovation, renewal, adaptive reuse, and new construction. We deliver design through fast - track, design - bid - build, design - build, and public / private / partnership to best serve the Owner. We also provide component design and construction engineering services - including shoring, bracing, load path verification, delegated design, value engineering, and bid consultation - as well as forensic, performance, and due-diligence investigations, condition assessments, and feasibility studies.

Job Details
Project engineer to manage, design, and detail building structures both independently and as part of a larger team. Will work as a liaison between other design professionals and our firm’s Principals, select structural systems and conceptual framing, perform all necessary analysis and design calculations, develop construction drawings and specifications, self-perform drafting and written texts, review shop drawings, and review contractor’s work during construction.
Job Requirements
+ Master of Science Degree in Structural Engineering
+ Minimum 4 years’ experience in the design of building structures
+ Professional Engineer Registration
+ Engineering design skills in steel, concrete, masonry, and timber
+ Familiar with design codes
+ Experience in production of construction documents (drawings and specifications)
+ Versed in RAM or RISA analysis software
+ Fluent in REVIT
