Requirements
Top 4 Requirements:
Highschool diploma AND 5+ years of relevant technical experience
Understand/ Interpret/ Install based on applicable technical schematics,
diagrams, blueprints, manuals and publications
Own tools in good working condition (wrenches, sockets, wire tools,
basic hand tools, plus to have multimeter and combo wrenches)
Ability to Obtain and Maintain a security clearance
Plusses:
Part fitting, assembly and repair to airframe
soldering, avionics, APQP, Aviation, Welding, Aerospace, FAA,
FCC, maintenance, spectrometer, oscilloscope, hazardous materials experience
Defense industry, NASA or Military experience
Day to Day/Project:
Assemble and or create Major assembly structures
Minor part fitting operations (skills such as filing, sawing, burring,
trimming, framing, riveting, drilling and reaming
Align parts on jigs and aerospace vehicles
Requirements:
Frequently walk, sit, stand, climb stairs and steps. Frequently repeat
same hand, arm, and finger motion many times to include finger and hand
dexteri
Frequently requires vision abilities to include close, distance, depth
perception, and telling the difference between colors.
Frequently requires hearing abilities to include discerning different tones
and volumes.
Occasionally lifting or carrying up to 50 lbs.
Working Conditions:
Frequently exposed to outdoor elements (high/low temperatures, sun,
rain/snow, etc.) Frequently exposed to fumes or hazardous chemicals/materials.
Frequently exposed to loud noises.
