**Job Title:** Structural Welder

**Location:** Decatur, AL (Locals Only)

**Pay Rate:** Based upon experience up to $27 per hour

**Job Description:**

United Trades of America is seeking experienced Structural Welders for local projects in Decatur, AL. This position requires a skilled welder with experience in structural welding, including Stick, MIG, and Flux Core. Candidates must be able to work with various materials such as carbon steel and stainless steel in industrial and commercial environments.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Perform structural welding on beams, columns, and other components in an industrial setting.
- Weld in various positions (vertical, horizontal, overhead) to meet project requirements.
- Read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and structural plans.
- Conduct welding inspections to ensure quality and adherence to industry standards.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
- Assist with related tasks such as cutting, grinding, and fitting as needed.

**Requirements:**

- Proven experience in structural welding (Stick, MIG, Flux Core).
- Ability to pass a hands-on welding test for specified welding methods.
- Experience working with structural steel in industrial or commercial environments.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and welding symbols.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA safety guidelines.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
- Physically fit for demanding tasks (lifting, bending, standing for extended periods).
