Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Structure Fitter Welder proficient in MIG and FLUX welding techniques to join our team at Catoosa. The ideal candidate will have experience in blueprint reading, layout, and welding of fabricated and forged components to assemble Header components.
Responsibilities:
- Interpret and understand blueprints to accurately lay out components for welding.
- Fit and weld fabricated and forged components using GMAW, and/or FCAW processes.
- Position, align, and fit components together accurately and securely.
- Tack-weld parts to secure them in position for welding, adhering to correct welding processes and procedures.
- Set up welding equipment for the use of various types of materials.
- Ability to read a tape measure.
Requirements:
- 1-3 years of experience in fitting / welding.
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and layout.
- Ability to accurately fit and weld fabricated and forged components.
- Skill in positioning, aligning, and tack-welding components.
- Familiarity with setting up welding equipment for different materials.
- Ability to pass a Fitter Test.
