Volt is immediately hiring multiple Structured Package Mechanics for immediate temp to hire employment in the city of Kearny Mesa / San Diego, CA.
As a Structured Package Mechanic you will:
We are hiring for 1st shift (6am - 2:30pm) and 2nd shift (3pm – 11:30pm). Most openings being available on 2nd shift. LOTS of overtime available. The company offers job stability, growth opportunities and a fun/employee friendly environment.

As a Structured Package Mechanic you will:
- Install and assembly of mechanical components on gas turbine engines
- Layout, fabricate and perform assembly of engines and motors
- Install hydraulic tubing
- Route cables and wires and perform electrical terminations
- Cable harnessing and wire harnessing
- Follow blueprints and drawings
- Utilize hand tools - specifically wrenches

- Mechanical assembly experience – layout, install, wiring, of larger mechanical pieces – anyone who has worked with wrenches and hand tools
- Experience working as a auto mechanic, diesel mechanic, aviation mechanic, engine mechanic, or HVAC is preferred but not required on engines
- Shipyard or military experience ideal
- Ability to read blueprints and drawings
- Experience using hand tools - wrenches
- Be able to pass a criminal background check and drug test

Salary
$25 - $25.75 per hour
