Job Summary
Performs various cleaning tasks to provide all staff, and visitors a safe and clean environment by maintaining standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and free from hazards
Prepares meeting spaces for daily events, which may include planning, set-up, and take down as needed
May be responsible for unloading equipment or supplies

Responsibilities
+ Sweeps, cleans, mops, scrubs, and dusts floors
+ Cleans toilets and basins, and scrubs walls; dusts, cleans, and vacuums furniture, fixtures doors, and related furnishings using appropriate cleaning supplies
+ Operates and maintains electric floor machines, industrial vacuums, carpet shampooing equipment, and upholstery/shampooing equipment
+ Cleans, refinishes, and maintains a variety of floor coverings
+ Transports custodial supplies and equipment to and from storage and work areas
+ Transports trash and refuse, removes empty boxes, and organizes closets
+ Helps with event setups and teardowns by placing chairs, tables, and other equipment throughout the Union Building
+ Other duties as assigned
