The Opportunity:
Reporting to the Site Supervisor, the Yard Services Attendant provides excellent customer service when helping customers as well as working hands on to maintain the yard area. This is a seasonal opportunity.
Responsibilities:
- Fill propane cylinders
- Preparation of all tanks/cylinders for customers
- Receive and put away all deliveries
- Monthly and weekly yard counts for inventory
- Clean and organize the warehouse and outbuildings
- Clean and maintain yard/plant area
- Cut grass/shovel snow
- Closing of store and yard
- Attend monthly staff meetings
- Other job-related duties as assigned by immediate supervisor
- Training will be provided for PTI 100-1 Propane Pump Attendant Certification, WHMIS & TDG training, First Aid training, and Forklift training.
Requirements:
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Good time management skills
- Able to work well with others as well as unsupervised
- Product knowledge (Propane cylinders & fittings)
- Valid driver’s license
