RESPEC seeks a student human resources intern for our summer 2025 program located in our Colorado Springs, Colorado, or Rapid City, South Dakota, office.

Job DescriptionAre you a motivated student looking for hands-on experience in Human Resources (HR)? Do you thrive in dynamic environments where collaboration and learning are key? If so, join RESPEC as an HR Intern for our summer 2025 program!
We are seeking a detail-oriented and enthusiastic student intern for our Colorado Springs or Rapid City office. As an HR intern, you’ll work closely with an experienced team of professionals, contributing to projects that impact our entire organization. You will learn on the job by:
- Assisting in developing and updating HR operational documents, resources, and presentations
- Working in our Human Resources Information System (HRIS) software and collaborating with the HR team to develop people analytics strategies aligned with business goals
- Supporting various HR functions such as talent acquisition, compensation, benefits, leave, reporting, and policy updates
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in Business Administration, HR Management, Organizational Management, or a related field
- Strong academic performance and a desire to learn and grow within the field of HR
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- High level of professionalism and the ability to maintain confidentiality
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with data analysis and a strong analytical mindset
- Proficiency in HRIS and talent management systems
- Ability to interpret and apply data to support HR strategies
Additional Information
The typical hourly wage for this position in Colorado is $20 to $23. The hourly wage in all locations will depend on experience and expertise.
