About us:
Sabine Surveyors is a full-service marine surveying and consulting company founded in 1968. Our services include bulk and project cargo surveys, hull and machinery surveys, damage surveys, P&I surveys, on-hire, and off-hire bunker and/or vessel condition surveys, vessel appraisals, vessel audits, management audits, shipyard representation services, CRF 46 Subchapter M Compliance services and vendor audits.
Position Overview:
We are excited to offer a paid internship opportunity for motivated and talented students. This internship is designed to provide hands-on experience in administration, business, or maritime field, allowing you to apply your academic knowledge in real-world setting. As an intern, you will work closely with our experienced professionals, gaining valuable insights and contributing to meaningful projects.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
This position is responsible for the following: other duties may be assigned as required:
Operate office machines, such as photocopiers and scanners, facsimile machines, voice mail systems, laptop computers, and tablets.
Input data into Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, Microsoft applications, and Windows based software
Input and complete workflow tasks within Office 365 applications.
Organize, maintain, and develop workflows in MS O365 applications or others as directed.
Maintain filing systems for records, correspondence, and other material.
Compose, type, and distribute routine correspondence and reports as directed.
Make copies of correspondence or other printed material as requested.
Assist management with projects as directed.
Required Education & Experience:
Currently enrolled college or trade school student or recent graduate preferred.
High School Diploma or GED
Working Conditions:
Must possess mobility to work in a standard office setting, use standard office equipment, and be able to attend meetings at various sites within and away from the office.
Mobility to climb up and down stairs, as needed.
Mobility to access vessels escorted by fellow team members via safely rigged gangways.
Strength to lift and carry materials weighing up to 20 pounds.
Vision to read printed materials and a computer screen, including the ability to look at a computer screen for at least eight (8) hours each day.
Hearing and speech to communicate in person and over the telephone
Regular work time indoors in environmentally controlled conditions combined with exposure to all weather conditions, such as hot, humid, and/or rainy weather, if necessary.
