What you'll do
* Assist project engineers and other discipline engineers to ensure consistency in the execution of project management activities
* Help create and scope out potential projects to improve output
* Help to coordinate civil engineering and design projects through execution, planning, and interface stages. Ensure that activities are completed on schedule and within budget
* Assist the refinery operations to understand performance and production data
Who you are
* Available to begin work on or around May 5th, 2025
* Legal authorization to work in the United States
* As this position requires the operation of a motor vehicle, a valid US Driver's License is required
* Previous experience is considered an asset
* Strong attitude for carrying out all work in a safe, cautious manner while following safe work practices
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
Education
* Pursuing an undergraduate degree in Civil/Mechanical/Electrical or related technology/engineering degree
* Preference will be given to students in 3rd or 4th year
* Currently attending an accredited post-secondary institution at the time of the intended work term and returning to full-time studies after the work term OR registered in an accredited post-secondary co-op or internship program for the duration of the work term
* Candidates currently enrolled in either a master's or Ph.D. program at an accredited post-secondary institution may also be considered
* Availability for multiple work terms is preferred
* Strong academic performance
* Ability to work 40 hours per week during the scheduled semester
Working Conditions
* May include frequency of travel, sitting, standing, computer work, lifting, driving, working at site, etc.
Safety Sensitive
* This is a safety-sensitive role and as such you will also be required to wear all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) during required work hours.
