Position Summary:
The Student Services Administrative Assistant will provide administrative and secretarial support to Student Services Executive Director, Senior Director and other Division Directors to ensure the efficient operation of the department. This position requires the ability to work independently, exercising good judgment and initiative.
Qualifications:
Education/Certification
- Requires a High School diploma or GED
Experience
- 1+ years of experience as an Administrative Assistant
- 1+ year record keeping
- 1+ year accounting/finance
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
- Working knowledge of Google Docs Editors suite and Gmail products
- Able to handle confidential information in a professional and secure manner
- Able to work office equipment to complete daily tasks
- Able to manage multiple priorities effectively
- Able to develop and maintain effective working relationships
- Excellent organizational, verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Excellent knowledge of office protocol
- Knowledge of budgets
Preferred KSAs
- Experience maintaining and supporting public, private or charter school employees
- Strong organizational, time management, communication, and interpersonal skills
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Process the order of supplies and equipment for department leaders.
- Process travel for department leaders as necessary
- Process invoices and check requests as necessary
- Maintain department records and tracking documents
- Maintain a positive and effective relationship with department staff
- Other duties as assigned
