Non-profit Technic Training Center is seeking a dedicated Student Trainer and Wood Shop Manager to lead our wood manufacturing shop and inspire high school and middle-school students through hands-on learning opportunities.

Job Responsibilities:
- Educate and train students in safe machine operation through comprehensive safety procedures.
- Oversee the Technic Training Center wood manufacturing shop, ensuring safety, security, and maintenance of all equipment.
- Deliver hands-on instruction in wood manufacturing, cabinetmaking, furniture making, and CNC wood product manufacturing, aligned with our curriculum.
- Design and implement efficient shop layouts and machine centers to optimize training workflows.
- Collaborate with local school leaders and teachers to provide exceptional career and technical training opportunities.
- Enhance instructional quality by assessing student learning outcomes and analyzing results for continuous improvement.
- Participate in both short-term and long-term strategic planning for the Technic program's growth and success.
- Engage with industry professionals to discuss and improve curriculum, training methods, and material use.
- Serve as a mentor and coach, guiding students in both their professional and personal development.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Competitive Salary with potential for overtime (straight-time) pay.
- Medical/Dental/Vision insurance and Health Savings Account (HSA) options with annual employer contributions ranging from $750 (employee only) to $2,250 (employee, spouse, and dependents).

Core Competencies:
- Proficiency in teaching wood technology fundamentals, including cabinet making, CNC construction, furniture making, manufacturing processes, and materials technology.
- Preferred experience in both the private business sector and educational settings.
- A strong commitment to sustainable practices within wood technology.
- Proven experience working with students, collaborating with teams, and managing volunteers.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage positively with students, staff, volunteers, and parents, maintaining consistency, fairness, and respect.
