Job Summary
The Student Video Editor will be responsible for producing and editing video content for the Online Programs at the David Eccles School of Business. You’ll work closely with a collaborative team to convert in-classroom experiences into engaging online learning materials. This role offers opportunities to assist with various video-related tasks, from recording to post-production editing.
Responsibilities
+ Video Production : Serve as the primary point of contact for studio video recording, including studio setup, camera operation, live editing, and interaction with faculty.
+ Video Editing : Edit faculty video lectures to meet the quality standards of the Online Programs office.
+ Project Management : Manage editing assignments, report to supervisors, and ensure timely completion of video modules.
+ Additional Opportunities : As the Online Programs grow, assist with in-class recordings, marketing materials, and quality control.
Minimum Qualifications
Preferences
+ Proficiency in video editing software, especially Adobe Premiere .
+ Experience operating basic camera and audio equipment.
+ Knowledge of Photoshop , InDesign , After Effects , and Audition is a plus.
+ Creative mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
+ Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
+ Experience in animation is a bonus.
+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
