GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Supports management of the lifecycle of company subcontracts, by performing duties associated with sourcing materials, equipment, and services that support organizational efforts.
DUTIES
- Works with Supply Chain and other company staff to:
- Support Proposals and Pricing with preparing requests for proposals (RFPs), obtaining subcontractor proposals, evaluating proposals, providing input for cost proposals, conducting fact finding, preparing cost and/or price analyses and participate in multi-facet negotiations.
- Negotiate, administer, and manage complex subcontracts, high value procurements, and complex service subcontracts within price, schedule, and performance standards.
- Negotiates and executes NDAs, TAs, and other agreement documents.
- Provide direct subcontract support, review of contractual documents to ensure protection of company's contractual/risk posture, satisfaction of contractual requirements and adherence to company policies.
- Anticipate, plan, and implement actions necessary to ensure product quality, cost/budgets, schedules, technical and contractual performance by subcontractor. Monitor and periodically report on cost, schedule and technical status of projects and recommend/implement corrective actions as required.
- Track and administer subcontractor modifications
- Process subcontractor invoices and track payments.
- Identifies and implements improvement opportunities within own role and responsibilities as well as company policies. Ensures compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications.
- Performs work under general supervision.
- Must demonstrate the ability to make sound judgment

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or other related degree preferred
- Two (2) plus years of experience in a manufacturing or Department of Defense (DOD) industry preferred
- Deltek Costpoint experience preferred, or experience having worked with other ERP systems
- Advanced working knowledge of the FAR, DFAR, ITAR, UCC and INCO terms with a broad familiarity with Government contracting principles and other Government regulations
- Understanding of various subcontracting types and terminology, measures, concepts, principles, and strategies
- Ability to manage high volume workload, produce quality work, and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
- Demonstratable attention to detail and accuracy
- Research and data analysis skills
- Persuasive and clear oral and written communication skills
- Excellent Organizational and problem-solving skills
- Advanced computer skills; proficient in Microsoft Office and SharePoint
