Subject Matter Expert Level IV - Command Holdings

WWC Global, an operating firm of Command Holdings, is seeking a Strategic Readiness Subject Matter Expert to serve as Team Lead on a contract supporting the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Personnel and Readiness.

Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

• Leading and managing the team responsible for the development and on-time delivery of comprehensive readiness assessments, such as the Strategic Readiness Assessment (SRA) and Semi-Annual Readiness Report to Congress (SRRC)
• Coordinating Department-wide collaboration and research efforts.
• Overseeing the analysis of readiness challenges and mitigation efforts.
• Overseeing the overall production and quality of the SRRC and ensure timely submission.
• Maintaining expertise in readiness reporting and assessment policy guidance.
• Responding to Congressional inquiries and develop briefing materials for senior leaders.
• Providing strategic direction and ensure alignment with DoD priorities and strategic objectives.

Work Environment:

• Moderate noise (i.e. business office with computers, phone and printers) and /or occasional Loud noise (airfield, large equipment).
• Ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period of time.

Physical Demands:

• While performing the responsibilities of the job, the employee is required to sit, stand, talk, and hear.
• Employee is often required to sit and use their hands and fingers to operate a computer.

Requirements

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• 10 years of relevant experience (ex. military readiness, report writing, project management).
• Current, active Secret Security Clearance.
• Strong leadership and project management skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• In-depth knowledge of Department of Defense readiness policies and procedures.
• Outstanding communication skills, influencing abilities, and client focus.
• Demonstrated proficiency in using all Microsoft Office applications.
• Professional proficiency in English is required.
• Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. WWC Global will not sponsor applicants for work visas for this position.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's Degree in a relevant field.
• 15+ years prior military experience with duty on Pentagon, Service, or Component headquarters staff.
• Strong executive-level writer with experience in writing issue papers.
• Direct experience supporting force readiness for the DoD or similar government entity.
• Top Secret Security Clearance.
