A substance abuse facility in Manhattan is currently seeking a Counselor to join their growing team.
About the Opportunity:
- Start Date: ASAP
- Assignment Length: Ongoing (Contract to Hire)
- Schedule: M-F
- Hours: 7a-3p
- EMR: ECW
- Patient Population: Adults
Responsibilities:
The Counselor will:
- Conduct individual and group counseling sessions with patients to address substance use issues and related concerns.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans in collaboration with patients, taking into account their unique needs and goals.
- Facilitate psychoeducational and therapeutic groups to address various aspects of addiction and recovery.
Qualifications:
- NYS LMSW or CASAC required
- Experience working with Substance Abuse Disorder populations
