Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior SPC Designer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in AutoCAD Electrical (ACADE) and possess extensive experience in substation protection and control design, as well as a solid background in intelligent design principles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and design SPC systems for substations using AutoCAD Electrical.
- Ensure all designs meet the required specifications and standards for safety and efficiency.
- Collaborate with engineers and project managers to understand project requirements and deliver intelligent design solutions.
- Provide technical guidance and support throughout the production process.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and advancements in SPC design technology.
Qualifications:
- Proven proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in substation P&C design.
- Familiarity with intelligent design concepts and their application in the production environment.
- Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles related to SPC.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with production in AutoCAD Electrical
- Demonstrated ability to lead projects and mentor junior designers.
- Certification or advanced training in electrical design or a related field.
Additional Information:
- This role can be remote but travel to the Baltimore, MD area may be required approximately 10% of the time.
