About the Job
- Provides a safe, secure, and positive environment for juveniles detained in the Juvenile Detention Center.
- Supervise the activities of juveniles in the course of meeting their educational, emotional, recreational, disciplinary and basic childcare needs.
- Supervise family visitation and documents juveniles’ behavior and adaptation to a secure, supervised setting on a daily basis.
County Substitute employees have no guarantee of continued employment. These employees work "as needed" and typically work irregular sporadic hours. Substitute employees are not eligible for benefits.
