Substitute Teacher - Connelly School of the Holy Child

Connelly School of the Holy Child is a nurturing and collaborative environment where we encourage the growth and development of our students. We are seeking dedicated and adaptable Substitute Teachers to support our faculty and maintain continuity in our students' learning experiences.

Responsibilities include:

• Implementing lesson plans provided by the regular teacher and adapting as necessary to meet the needs of students.
• Maintaining a positive and engaging classroom atmosphere conducive to learning.
• Managing student behavior by applying school policies and procedures.
• Communicating effectively with students, parents, and staff to ensure a smooth transition for students.
• Providing feedback to the regular teacher regarding student progress and classroom activities.
• Supervising students during lunch, recess, or other times as needed.

Requirements

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in education or a related field preferred.
• Previous experience working with students in an educational setting.
• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to adapt and improvise.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to the school's mission and values.
• Ability to work collaboratively with the entire school community.
