As a GXO Intern, you’ll have the opportunity to work with dedicated professionals in an exciting, fast-paced environment, learning the skills that will help you build a meaningful career. During the 10-week program, you will learn about logistics and leadership by gaining working knowledge of the different facets of our business through working in operations financial planning & analysis. 

What you’ll do on a typical day:

• Placement in operations financial planning & analysis, on site at our Ft. Worth, TX warehouse.
• Learn the basic job functions and perform responsibilities relative to the finance assignment to meet weekly goals and objectives
• Collaborate with various functional teams, including operations, controlling, auditing, accounting, IT, invoicing, and new site implementation.
• Take initiative to learn GXO finance and account operations
• Participate and/or lead projects with key partners and peer interns by creating and developing project plans, determine requirements, deliverables, resources, timing/milestones, and risks.

What you need to succeed at GXO:

At a minimum, you’ll need:

• Current collegiate Junior or Senior in pursuit of Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field with anticipated graduation by June 2026.
• In academic good standing with a grade point average of at least 3.0.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).
• Advanced skills to build complex formulas in Excel.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to present information and data in an organized, concise, and audience appropriate manner.
• Detail-oriented and organized.
• Ability to travel on occasion.
• High degree of integrity to maintain confidentiality.

It’d be great if you also have:

• Leadership and/or people management experience in collegiate programs and activities, or in previous/current employment.
• Ability to use data to understand problems, identify potential solutions, and suggest the solution that’s most likely to have the desired impact.
• Communicate and build relationships with others that contribute to the efficiency of the team.
• Knowledge or experience with Oracle and PowerBI software applications.

This job requires the ability to:

• Lift objects up to 10lbs.
• Stand, sit or walk for extended periods of time.
• Reach (including above your head), bend, climb, push, pull, twist, squat and kneel.
