Summer Intern - Intertek Surveying Services (USA) LLC

Intertek, a leading provider of ATIC (Assurance, Testing, Inspection, and Certification) Services, is looking for a Summer Intern to join our Industry Services team in Houston, Texas.

Intertek's Industry Services team uses expert technical knowledge of industries such as oil & gas, power generation, renewable energy, chemical, construction and transportation to provide a diverse range of innovative Total Quality Assurance solutions that optimize operations while minimizing risks in quality, safety and cost. Some of our key services include vendor inspection, site construction services, asset integrity management, non-destructive & materials testing, 3D laser scanning & dimensional control and energy & water consulting services.

Intertek is searching for a Summer Intern to join our Industry Servicesteam in our Houston TX office. This is a fantastic opportunity to learn how you can grow a versatile career in Survey Services with a great team.

What you'll do:

The Intern Student will spend a two-month period, assisting with general office support to include:

• Equipment Room organization
• Equipment cleaning
• Vehicles Maintenance and Cleaning
• Clearing of waste items from the office and general support
• Preparation of Equipment for shipping
• Some reorganization activities withing our office

What it takes to be successful in this role:

• Currently enrolled in college
• Enthusiastic, motivated, and well organized
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work to preset objectives and schedules
