GENERAL FUNCTION

This position works with key stakeholders on a broad spectrum of business initiatives to achieve internal communication goals and lead communication and engagement strategies. In conjunction, this position will also provide lite support to Executive Leadership Team (ELT) members for Sunglass Hut North America. This person should be a team player that demonstrates consistent high-level performance and maintains the utmost professional demeanor and the highest level of confidentiality and trust. 

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manages, develops, and coordinates projects (medium to large).
• Organizes multiple brand projects with the senior brand team effectively; ensures important matters receive top priority.
• Keep abreast of assigned brand initiatives; provide accurate, timely, supporting communications, and achieve brand objectives.
• Provide weekly updates for Communications/Store Operations Project List; ensure all communication needs are tracked and delivery timing aligns with brand objectives and business priorities of Field/Stores.
• Develop expertise in the functionality of the digital communications system; adhere to standards and best practices to deliver consistently and brand proper communications.
• Key Lead for group meeting logistics, budget, and event planning
• Proactively manages commitments and timelines such as project status updates, performance appraisals, etc.
• Accurately communicates relevant and potentially sensitive information to and from others, including Luxottica Retail Executive Group.
• Drafts correspondence as necessary and produces error-free and grammatically correct documents.
• Manages select Executive Leadership Team (ELT) members’ calendars and prepares expense reports.
• Is proficient with computer software systems and applications with a strong emphasis on PowerPoint.
• Maintains a high level of confidentiality and exercises good judgment.
• Anticipates and follows up on requests and issues with a proactive, problem-solving approach.
• Organizes and supports files and sensitive information. 

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• 5 to 8 years of Communications experience
• Advanced proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
• Extremely organized, accurate, and detail-oriented
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to balance multiple projects simultaneously
• Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment
• Creates an environment that fosters teamwork and trust

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

3+ years project management experience

​Pay Range: 105,760.80  - 152,692.80 

Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements. In addition, you may also be offered a competitive bonus and/or commission plan, which complements a first-class total rewards package.
