Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Construction Manager to oversee our high-end condo and new home construction projects, which involve custom materials and finishes, and require exceptional attention to detail. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in luxury residential construction and possess exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills. The Construction Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of the construction process, from pre-construction planning to project completion and delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee all construction activities, including scheduling subcontractors, ensuring that projects are completed within deadlines and budgets and that they meet quality standards. • Coordinate with architects, engineers, and designers to ensure that all construction activities align with project plans and specifications. • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure that all work is being carried out to required standards and that the project remains on schedule. • Manage project budgets and ensure that all expenses are properly tracked and documented. • Manage and negotiate contracts with subcontractors and vendors, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and qualifications to complete the work to the required standards. • Implement and maintain a high level of quality control on all construction activities, ensuring that all work meets or exceeds established quality standards. • Resolve any construction-related issues or disputes that may arise, and communicate any issues or changes to project stakeholders in a timely manner. • Ensure that all construction sites are kept clean and organized and that any hazards or potential safety issues are identified and addressed promptly.
Requirements:
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in luxury residential construction, with a focus on high-end condo and new home construction. • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience. • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and manage teams of subcontractors. • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively. • Thorough knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and construction industry standards. • Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office suite. • Experience working with custom materials and finishes. • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
