Job Summary: Seeking an experienced Commercial Construction Superintendent to lead project sites and ensure that construction is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety. This position requires an organized leader with the ability to oversee all aspects of on-site project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily on-site operations, ensuring that work progresses according to project timelines and quality standards.
- Supervise subcontractors, trades, and labor crews, providing clear direction to achieve optimal results.
- Coordinate with project managers, architects, engineers, and clients to address and resolve any issues promptly.
- Maintain a safe work environment, enforcing all safety protocols and conducting regular safety meetings and inspections.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality control and adherence to design and regulatory requirements.
- Create and maintain detailed daily reports, schedules, and logs to track project progress and address potential delays or issues.
- Attend and lead regular on-site meetings with project stakeholders to review timelines, budgets, and updates.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in Construction Management or a related field is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a superintendent in commercial construction.
- Comprehensive knowledge of construction processes, materials, and OSHA safety standards.
- Proficiency in construction management software
- Strong communication and leadership skills with a focus on teamwork and effective problem-solving.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and other technical documents.
