We are seeking a dedicated, experienced, and highly skilled Permanent Superintendent for Data Center Construction for the NIGHT SHIFT. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the construction process in our mission-critical data center projects. This role is instrumental in ensuring the successful completion of our projects and requires a dynamic individual who is capable of managing multiple tasks and teams simultaneously. The Permanent Superintendent for Data Center Construction will work closely with our team to coordinate and supervise all construction activities, ensure project deadlines are met, and maintain the highest level of safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities:
1. Oversee and manage all night shift operations of data center construction projects, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
2. Coordinate and supervise all construction activities, including the scheduling of workers, delivery of equipment and materials, and progress of the project.
3. Liaise with project management to understand the scope of work, project requirements, and deliverables.
4. Ensure all construction activities comply with safety and building regulations.
5. Conduct regular inspections of the construction site to ensure workmanship conforms to specifications and adherence to construction schedules.
6. Document and report any issues, incidents, or delays that may impact the project timeline or quality.
7. Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other construction specialists, providing valuable input based on your expertise.
8. Train and mentor construction workers and subcontractors, promoting a positive and productive work environment.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a supervisory role in data center construction or mission-critical environments.
3. Extensive knowledge of construction procedures, equipment, OSHA safety protocols, and regulations.
4. Proven track record of successfully overseeing and completing data center construction projects.
5. Exceptional leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
6. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to foresee potential issues and implement effective solutions.
7. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to liaise effectively with various stakeholders.
8. Ability to work night shifts and adapt to a flexible schedule, as required by the project needs.
9. Proficient in using construction management software and technology.
10. Valid certification in construction safety and a clean driving record.
