Commercial Construction Superintendent in Nebraska

A well-established and recognized contractor in the Midwest is seeking a dedicated Traveling Superintendent to join their team. This company takes pride in delivering projects on time and within budget while providing excellent customer service.

Position Highlights:

• Work Schedule: Monday to Thursday; projects are in Nebraska or surrounding areas.
• Industries: Health care, retail, commercial, hospitality, and other non-residential projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead on-site teams, including project engineers, assistant project managers, and field engineers.
• Travel to various project sites, collaborating closely with owners, architects, and subcontractors.
• Establish and maintain all on-site construction project functions.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures.
• Participate in team meetings to drive project success.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of hands-on commercial construction experience on projects valued at $10 million and higher.
• Proven track record with technically challenging projects.
• Strong leadership skills to oversee and motivate teams.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Excellent communication and attention-to-detail skills.
• Knowledge of the local market is preferred.
