Metals USA is seeking a Supervisor for our Horicon, WI location. Metals USA is a leading metals processor/distributor in North America, providing a wide range of carbon steel products and services. Responsibilities:

* Monitors and coordinates all areas of production to insure an efficient and cost-effective flow of raw materials to end product.
* Supervises all production employees with regard to job assignments, quality of work, overtime requirements, and safety.
* Ensures all job orders are done to customers' specifications.
* Review all production activities with the Plant Manager on a daily basis.
* Regular and predictable attendance is required to perform the duties of a plant supervisor effectively.
* Any other duties assigned by Management.
* Ensure policies are understood and upheld
* Evaluate employee competencies
* Coordinate with management and maintenance teams to ensure projects are completed timely and correctly

* High School or GED Equivalent
* Basic Mathematics skills
* Ability to read and write English Language
* Ability to understand and use Safety Rules and Procedures as well as OSHA standards and regulations
* Must exercise a reasonable degree of judgment and possess the ability to recognize appropriate company policies that apply in each situation and follow them.
* Must be able to read measuring tape and caliper
* Excellent communication skills
* Excellent time management skills
* Ability to use Microsoft office applications (word, excel, teams) proficiently
* Must be self-motivated
* Must work well as part of a team
* Comfortable speaking to groups of people
