Job Profile Summary
The Supervisor, Field Operations is a hands-on leadership role that involves both performing technical tasks and supervising field teams. This role ensures that maintenance and installation tasks are carried out to the highest standards, while directly managing the performance and development of field technicians. The supervisor effectively collaborates across departments to enhance operations and troubleshoot complex issues, ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and in compliance with all safety and quality protocols.
Duties and Responsibilities (included but not limited to):
- Direct and coordinate with various departments, external vendors, and contractors to ensure superior standards of site acceptance for new builds, site modifications, and complex backhaul installations, including uplifts, troubleshooting, and testing.
- Lead comprehensive preventative maintenance, enforce meticulous documentation practices, and conduct detailed site systems verifications to uphold and enhance site maintenance standards.
- Manage and maintain accountability for assigned company assets, collaborating closely with Logistics and Support Services to ensure precision in inventory accuracy.
- Swiftly and expertly resolve complex trouble tickets, providing leadership in critical situations.
- Conduct maintenance and optimization of power and battery systems, performing rigorous tests and adjustments to ensure peak performance.
- Provide ongoing training, coaching, and feedback; managing scheduling and timecard approvals; and overseeing performance management and disciplinary actions.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum Years Experience: 4 - 6 Yrs.
- Minimum Education: High School / Trade School or equivalent experience.

- Possess a valid Driver's License and meet the requirements of the Department of Transportation physical. Must pass a pre-employment drug test. Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, as required.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. unassisted.
- Proficient with the use of hand tools and power tools.
- Advanced knowledge and experience in the use and operation of electronic test equipment, including but not limited to: RFC 2544, VSWR, PIM, and OTDR.
- Knowledge and experience in wireless and data services, voice telecommunications, project management, microwave, fiber optics, ethernet backhaul facilities, and AC and DC power systems. Proven ability to train and mentor technicians.
- Demonstrated success in managing complex technical challenges under tight deadlines.
- Strong organizational skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications for communications and reporting.
- Experience with advanced diagnostic tools and software used in the telecommunications industry.
- Strong knowledge and ability to interpret statistical data, troubleshooting alarms, base station hardware, and backhaul equipment.
- Strong understanding and knowledge of radio frequencies.
- Proficient knowledge in TCP/IP protocols and networking fundamentals.

- Proven problem-solving skills in a high-pressure environment.
- Demonstrated success in managing complex technical challenges under tight deadlines.
- Prior leadership experience.
