Job Summary
Under general direction of the EMEA Service Manager, the Americas Service Supervisor provides the vision and execution pertaining to field service activities within the Americas Region. The Service Supervisor will be responsible for day to day management of both schedules, as well as maintaining adequate service levels for our Top Customer Population. In addition, the Service Supervisor will be responsible for execution and support of the growth inititiatives outlined by the division on an annual basis.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for inbound customer request for field service support and assignment of service resources to serve need
- Collaboration with EMEA Service Manager to identify additional profitable growth opportunities within the service organization.
- Ensure that established field service pricing is adhered to for all outlined field service activities.
- Audits and monitors the activities within the service contract area.
- Ensure that program guidelines and execution align with divisional strategies, including the NBS Next framework.
- Understand and correctly utilize the systems, portals, and interfaces used to adequate coordinate team
- Where applicable, evaluate customer specific applications to supply most appropriate route for resolution including working with assigned commercial and service personal.
- Assists with issue resolution within the service organization ensure positive customer experiences.
- Established new operating metrics as required
- If necessary, takes corrective actions on the daily service issues
- Plans and schedules personnel to cover service hours of operation, taking into account time-off requests, leave, illness, and holidays
- Ensures safety, neat and tidy workplaces, and compliance with company-regulations.
- Analyze data to make informed decisions about the operations of the team
- Identify opportunities to enhance and improve operations within the service organization.
- Allocates 75% of their time executing tasks expected of their direct reports
- Performs other duties as assigned
Education and Experience Requirements
Education:
- Bachelor degree preferred
Experience:
- 2-5 years years aftermarket sales or service support
- 2+ year of SAP Order Entry experience preferred

- Savvy experience with Microsoft Office
- 5+ years of SAP experience

- A proven track record of successfully leading teams
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision making skills
- Adaptability/flexibility which includes being open to change and conducting business differently
- Savvy with technology which includes use of web-based platforms, case management, etc.
