Do you want to lead a team of Case Managers/Social Workers in the Department of Health and Human Services?
We are hiring!
This supervisor position will have the primary duties in the supervision of case managers/social worker completing ongoing child protection duties and human service specialists completing home consultant duties. Case Managers/Social Workers on this team work with families to strengthen their parenting skills to ensure child safety, achieve court ordered conditions, and continue to assess allegations of abuse/neglect of children. Staff also make safety determinations regarding children remaining within the family home, work with families towards reunification when children are removed, and make recommendations regarding permanency for children. The human service specialists on this team assist families in overcoming challenges by connecting the families with various resources, provide supervised family interactions, and parenting services.
Hours: The normal work schedule is Monday through Friday 8-4:30 with flexibility to meet staff. This position is included in the supervisor on-call schedule rotation to support child protective staff on-call.
Remote Work: The employee may apply to work up to one day per week from home.
