Yamaha has an excellent opportunity for a Supply Chain & Operations Supervisor to join our Marine team in Kennesaw, GA. The position oversees the Operations team and helps ensure supply chain operations meets customer demand and provides solutions to effectively manage the supply chain process. This position creates and refines processes within the Operations group to make grow outboard and parts revenue.

What you'll be doing:
- Develop close working relationships with Key OEM boat builder partners. Communicate with Sales (OEM and Dealer) and key customers on their product needs and supply constraints.
- Work closely with Marine Information Systems (IS) to develop new ways to roll-out information from SAP, Business Objects and other information sources.
- Track budget information for Marine Power shipments on a weekly and monthly basis.
- Work continuously with other divisions such as Logistics, Accounting, IS, Sales, Service to recommend process enhancements.
- Work closely with production planning and scheduling.
- Develop and manage communication of the order/supply schedule. Track and take appropriate action based on the order/supply schedule. Develop and recommend course of action for each monthly target.
- Support special projects of Marine Executive Management as required. Accept and perform other duties as assigned by senior management.
- Supervise Operations 5-8 Account Associates on their daily activities and development.
- Tracks and manages budget.
What you need to be successful:
- BA / BS degree in business, supply chain management or a related field is required.
- 3 - 5 years of Marine Industry experienced required.
- 1 - 3 years experience in project management or supply chain management strongly preferred.
- Must have intermediate to advanced proficiency in MS Office (i.e., Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, etc.)
- Must have strong oral and written communication, planning and organization skills.
- Passion for the outdoors, boating and fishing.
- Ability to travel with short notice.
