Explore this amazing opportunity to showcase your leadership style and skills as an Environmental Services Supervisor at the Center for Community Health. In this role, you will have an opportuntity to continue motivating an awesome team to deliver the best services for our patients. We are seeking candidates of strong character that exhibit positive leadership skills with the ability to also manage administrative managerial tasks and. You’ll also collaborate with the Director to determine the very best strategies to deliver the highest levels of cleanliness, safety and hospitality for our patients, visitors and staff. You’ll have an opportunity to lead and work with an engaged team of action-oriented staff. You’ll report on immediate conditions in all assigned areas, and ensure all staff schedules are complete. You will train employees, and encourge positive internactions in this caring proactive patient-focused environment. You’ll provide inspiring leadership that fosters consistency and positive results across the NYP enterprise.

This is a full-time evening shift 4:00pm-12:00am, Including rotating weekends and holidays, located at NYP/Brooklyn Methodist Hospital.

Preferred Criteria:

• One-year cleaning experience in an institutional/commercial setting.
• High School Diploma or GED

Required Criteria:

• Basic computer literacy.
• Must read, write, speak and understand English.
• Knowledge of industrial cleaning maintenance equipment such as high-speed floor burnishers, extractors and groundskeeper equipment.
• Must know recycling and hazardous waste guidelines.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and able to stand for long periods of time; work requires standing, walking, and manual dexterity. Must be able to lift, pull and push 10 pounds at intervals.
