Supervisor - IST Management Services

IST Management is seeking a Site Supervisor to join our team at IST Management Services in the Washington DC area! The Site Supervisor will be responsible for providing print services, in addition to other support assistance on-site daily. Ideal candidates will have prior experience in print, are willing to train, possess a level of professionalism and are ready to grow in their office services career!

Hourly Compensation: $25.00 - $27.00/hour

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.

The Supervisor oversees the daily operations of various print and bindery areas, managing teams to ensure the efficient production and timely delivery of high-quality print and finishing services. The role involves leading staff, coordinating workflows, maintaining equipment, and ensuring client satisfaction through effective communication and quality control.

• Manage production teams across digital printing, wide format printing, and bindery operations.
• Oversee the scheduling and processing of all print and bindery requests, ensuring quality standards and on-time delivery.
• Train and guide staff on operating equipment and handling production processes.
• Coordinate with customer service teams to ensure smooth handling of client requests and provide technical guidance when necessary.
• Monitor inventory of supplies and substrates across all areas.
• Ensure regular maintenance and troubleshooting of print and bindery equipment.
• Attend production meetings and maintain effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.

Ideal candidates will have relevant experience in customer service and a desire to grow their professional career in business services.

• 2-4 years in a supervisory role.
• 4-7 years of experience in print production, bindery, or customer service operations.
• Proven leadership experience in managing print production and bindery operations.
• Strong ability to train and supervise staff in a production environment.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with a focus on meeting deadlines and maintaining quality standards.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to printing and bindery processes.
• Strong leadership in managing teams and coordinating workflows.
• Expertise in operating print and bindery equipment.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
