DutiesAs a Supervisory Management and Program Analyst, you will:Provide leadership, direction, and strategic advice on matters pertaining to business operations.Lead the strategic development and execution of work plans to accomplish objectives.Supervise a professional staff of senior level analysts.Serve as an analyst and/or advisor to an executive at the DOE Program Office level with responsibility over multiple programs with program office-wide or Department-wide impacts.Manage both long and short term program and resource planning to resolve critical problems that arise and develop new approaches to ensure program objectives are met.Consolidate data as necessary and reviews to ensure accomplishment of objectives, timeliness, and acceptability
Provide advice and guidance for improvements and anticipates areas of concern.Provide technical and management guidance and advice on the most appropriate approaches to accomplish the mission and ensure optimum management strategy.Requirements Conditions of EmploymentYou must be a United States Citizen.This employer participates in the e-Verify program.If you are a male applicant born after December 31, 1959, you must certify that you have registered with the Selective Service System or are exempt from having to do so under the Selective Service Law

This appointment can be made permanent without further competition QualificationsSPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: A qualified candidate's online application and resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level GS-14 in the Federal service
Specialized experience for this position is defined as meeting ALL of the following:Experience planning, directing, and evaluating the work activities and performance of subordinates.Experience communicating to other leaders and staff the vision, mission, values, strategy, and rationale; assignments, projects, problems to be solved, program issues under review, actionable events, milestones, deadlines, and time frames.Experience demonstrating strong verbal and written ability, as well as developing partnerships and coalitions to collaborate and provide solutions

Examples of qualifying unpaid experience may include: volunteer work done through National Service programs (such as Peace Corps and AmeriCorps); as well as work for other community-based philanthropic and social organizations
Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills; and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment
