Supplier Marketing Specialist
The Supplier Marketing Specialist plays a crucial role in developing marketing campaigns that strengthen partnerships with our suppliers. The Supplier Marketing Specialist sources and curates content, while collaborating with our supplier partners. This role collaborates with the Vendor Relations and Sales teams to ensure alignment.
In this role, you will:
- Collaborate with suppliers to create marketing campaigns that promote their products and services that align with our sales organization’s goals and initiatives.
- Collaborate with internal marketing team to develop and monitor campaign performance metrics to share with supplier partners.
- Collaborate with vendor relations team to ensure that supplier marketing activities align with overall vendor relations strategies.
- Collaborate with supplier partners to utilize existing content, and to explore content co-creation opportunities.
- Identify and coordinate sponsorship opportunities for our suppliers at larger events (ex. Automation Fair), in collaboration with our Vendor Relations team and ensure suppliers receive the maximum benefit from their sponsorship.
- Work closely with suppliers and internal subject matter experts to gather and curate product and services content to utilize for content creation.
- Help curate and maintain an organized content library, ensuring up-to-date and accurate information.
- Collaborate with Vendor Relations and sales to develop and maintain supplier line cards, summarizing product offerings and key information for easy reference by the sales and marketing teams.
- Help manage content calendar to ensure visibility and consistent flow of marketing materials.
- Oversee the message on hold system, ensuring it conveys accurate and up-to-date information.
- Conduct regular cadences with key suppliers to review campaign performance.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities to be successful include:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in B2B marketing, supplier relations, or a similar role.
- Strong project management skills with routine status updates and ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to work with a high level of independence moving projects forward.
- Ability to provide insight and direction, helping to guide team towards shared objectives.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with suppliers, internal teams, and the Vendor Relations Team.
- Must have the ability to build rapport, inspire confidence, establish trust and credibility, and be a part of a team.
- Knowledge of Salesforce CRM and Marketing Cloud Account Engagement (Pardot).
- Knowledge of the electrical distribution industry and products is a plus.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
