About the Job
The Supply Chain Analyst position is a data analysis expert responsible for providing visibility to business performance metrics. The position will uncover supply chain insights and optimization through the consolidation, summarization, and evaluation of existing data sources found inside and outside of TCS data warehouses. The successful candidate will primarily be interested in career growth within operations / transportation / supply chain. This is a full-time, salaried exempt position.

Responsibilities
- Leads strategic/tactical supply chain analysis projects
- Evaluate supply chain performance, identify opportunities, and communicate trends.
- Acts as an SME on existing data sources for distribution, transportation, and order management. Identify gaps in existing data sources. Develop proxies to work around gaps, and/or define data needs to technology teams for subsequent development.
- Is an SME on the use of desktop analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL) to access data, analyze data, create models, and create tools that can be adopted by operations leaders
- Develop desktop analysis models (e.g., Excel, SQL, MS Access) to evaluate proposed changes in the supply chain
- Partners with multiple business departments including Buyers, Inventory Planners, DC Operations Leadership, Transportation, Logistics Systems, Technology, Store Leadership, Finance, as well as external Vendor partners
- Performs other requested tasks and duties

Qualifications
- College degree required: MBA with interest in Supply Chain preferred
- Advanced modeling in Excel is a must, experience w/Macro and VBA development preferred
- Proficiency with SQL and experience with Manhattan WMS preferred
- High proficiency with MS Office tools including Excel, Word, and Powerpoint
- Based in Dallas/Ft. Worth area
- Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and a safe manner
- Is committed to working scheduled hours and has the flexibility to work additional hours based on changing business needs
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in a professional manner, both orally and in writing, at all levels within and outside the organization
- Ability to quickly separate the mission-critical tasks from the lower priority tasks; focuses on the most value-added projects of the day or week
