HumCap's client, a privately held, well-established company in the energy sector, is searching for a Logistics Manager to join their team. The company specializes in the marketing and distribution of ethanol, diesel, crude oil, and gasoline blend stocks, achieving $3.5 billion in revenue in 2023. It is expanding its portfolio with new projects in the pipeline, including a Canadian subsidiary set to launch in 2025 to meet growing market demand.

Primary Responsibilities:
The Logistics Manager will take responsibility for a product (such as ethanol, crude oil, methanol, natural gasoline, or other gasoline blendstocks) or ethanol plant(s) from contract signing through to inventory management, relationships with shippers, and systems entry & management.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage products and inventory from contract initiation to completion.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with shipping companies and suppliers.
- Ensure accuracy in systems entry and management of logistics data.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to streamline operations.

- Sales team
- Director of Logistics and leadership team
- Plant personnel
- Terminals and transportation companies (railroads, barge, trucking)
- Internal teams including accounting, compliance, and other logistics managers
- Excellent customer service skills
- 2-3 years of experience in logistics or customer service
- Basic accounting skills (understanding of debits and credits)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Ability to learn and adapt to logistics software
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
- Positive attitude, quick learner, and strong work ethic
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
- Skill in managing inventories and tracking expenses
