Job Summary:
- The Coordinator will be responsible for managing and overseeing various tasks to ensure smooth and efficient operations between Operations, Sales, Outside Vendors, and Customer Service departments.
- This role involves coordinating activities, resources, equipment, and information to support project and operational goals.
- The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational and communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Project Coordination:
- Assist in the planning and implementation of projects.
- Coordinate project schedules, resources, equipment, and information.
- Liaise with functional leads to identify and define project requirements, scope, and objectives.
- Act as the point of contact and communicate project status to all participants including external vendors.
- Facilitate effective communication among team members and stakeholders.
- Prepare and distribute project-related reports and documentation.
- Coordinate and prioritize resources with functional leads as needed.
- Monitor and track project progress and handle any issues that arise.
- Ensure all projects adhere to frameworks and all documentation is maintained appropriately.
- Maintain project documentation, plans, and reports.
- Organize and schedule appointments and meetings.
- Identify and communicate any issues or problems that may arise during project execution.
- Implement solutions to keep projects on track.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a similar role.
- Strong organizational skills with an ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office software and ERP system solutions (e.g., Excel, Outlook, Word, MS D365 or similar).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Bachelor’s degree, Project Management certification, or related field is preferred.
- Office location: Onsite in the Torrance Facility
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in a product manufacturing environment, including logistics is helpful
- Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, CAPM) is a plus.
