About the Job
CORE DUTIES:
1. Execute the planning, scheduling, and coordination of replenishment shipments to Distribution Centers to maintain fill rate targets.
2. Develop and evaluate demand planning requirements based on historical sales, sales and marketing input, product life cycle, seasonality and promotional activity.
3. Own master data accuracy for inventory levels and replenishment strategies.
4. Identify obsolete, slow moving or short shelf-life materials and implement processes to reduce and minimize scrap costs.
5. Coordinate with production planning at manufacturing locations to expedite manufacturing when needed and communicate to customer service when items will be ready for shipment.
6. Investigate and understand the causes of late orders and takes actions to prevent future late orders.
7. Report fill rate, inventory turns and scrap metrics to leadership.
8. Facilitate communications between Distribution Centers, Customer Service, Shipping, Sales & Marketing Manufacturing, Import Compliance and other areas as needed.
9. Participate in departmental and cross departmental process improvement projects.
10. Follow and update department SOP’s and localized Distribution Center specific planning processes.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain related field and 3-5 years of experience.
2. Comprehensive knowledge of demand and supply strategies, planning concepts, distribution and production planning.
3. Strong communication, analytical and customer service skills.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Demand, distribution, or production planning experience working through an ERP System.
2. Ability to work in a team environment and build relationships with both domestic and international personnel.
3. Proven mathematic and/or analytical skills demonstrated through educational or professional background.
4. APICS certified or working towards certification.
5. Good understanding of EXCEL (VLOOKUPs, Pivot tables, graphs, etc.).
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
1. Ability to spend long hours in front of a computer screen.
2. Ability to travel.
