Responsibilities
- Complete efficiency studies
- Evaluate existing space utilization.
- Develop recommendations for the physical reorganization of items.
- Develop recommendations for effective product storage and inventory management.
- Develop recommendations for improving processes and capacity.
- Review and provide insight into business processes that will improve productivity.
- Shadow and learn the roles and responsibilities of the warehouse.
- Special projects will be assigned.
- Create presentation for Iowa 80’s leadership team.
Requirements
- Actively enrolled with an accredited college majoring in Retail Management or Supply Chain Management
- Ability to work in a team environment located in a warehouse setting.
- Willingness to stand on your feet for 8 hours.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Excellent skills with Microsoft Office 365 and Outlook
- An individual who portrays a positive, self-driven attitude
- Takes direction well.
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to successfully pass a drug test, physical, and background check
- Warehousing classes are a plus!
