KEY RESPONSIBLITIES:
- Responsible for supply planning for raw materials, chemicals and components required to make finished goods at contract manufacturers. Monitor and review forecasts and sales to ensure adequate inventory is available to meet customer demand while minimizing excess and obsolete inventories.
- Maintain ERP/MRP master data, periodically reviewing planning data maintained in the system. Support new product launches and ensure material and vendor set-up completed efficiently.
- Maintain minimal to no backorders on all products released to market. Build and maintain inventory to levels agreed upon in management objectives. Perform analysis of materials and determine optimum safety stock.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Experience dealing with suppliers and ability to multi-task, prioritize work and implement process and efficiency.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, effective presentation skills.
- Flexible schedule and ability to travel.
Knowledge or methods:
- High degree of competence in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Excellent English communication skills (oral and written).
- Familiarity with an ERP system and common software applications.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree required (in Sciences, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business or applicable).
Experience:
- Experience in supply chain such as purchasing, supplier management, demand planning and/or supply planning.
- 2-5 years of work experience, or an equivalent combination of training, education, and experience which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position.
- Ability to effectively interact cross-functionally with Marketing, R&D, Purchasing, Finance, Quality, etc.
