About the Job
Atlantic Tire Distributors is seeking a Supply Chain Manager to lead the planning, execution, and optimization of all supply chain activities within our tire distribution sector. This role is critical in ensuring product availability and implementing best practices to enhance overall operational performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement supply chain strategies that support our business objectives and enhance service levels.
- Manage inventory control processes to minimize costs while ensuring adequate stock levels to meet customer demand.
- Coordinate transportation and distribution logistics to ensure timely delivery to customers and minimize disruptions.
- Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess supply chain effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
- Work cross-functionally with sales, operations, and finance teams to align supply chain initiatives with business goals.
- Ensure adherence to industry regulations and safety standards.
- Lead and mentor the supply chain team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience in the tire distribution field required.
- Strong understanding of supply chain logistics, inventory management, and procurement processes.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to leverage data to drive decision-making.
- Proficient in supply chain management software and ERP systems; familiarity with data analysis tools is a plus.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities.
