Position Summary:
The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience in the restaurant industry and at least 3 - 5 years of experience in a supply chain management role. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our supply chain processes, including procurement, logistics, inventory management, and supplier relationships.
Responsibilities:
- Act as a point of contact for distribution partners, franchisees, and restaurant support staff for all distribution related issues with a focus on fresh produce.
- Communicate and strategize with distribution partners regarding order planning, inventory levels, and other supply chain initiatives.
- Gather and present relevant business data to cross-functional teams and external partners. This could include short- and long-term produce market outlook as well as quality challenges and recommendations for navigating said challenges.
- Maintain and enhance the relationship with existing distribution partners.
- Ensure supply continuity from product suppliers' production facilities through the supply chain to the restaurants.
- Provide support on operational projects for assigned brands.
- Assist in management of demand and materials planning efforts for the Supply Chain Team including new item rollouts, transitions, and depletions.
- Provide customer service to the brand teams and field staff.
- Occasional travel for brand and/or supplier relationship management or to attend relevant industry events.

Required Qualifications:
- A bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, finance, or analytics. Equivalent combination of education and experience would be considered.
- A strong understanding and skill in the Microsoft Office suite of products specifically Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Demand planning and forecasting experience.
- Ability to prioritize and maintain multiple active projects.
- Additional consideration for candidates with the following experience: History working with restaurant brands, produce distribution, and general foodservice distribution/supply chain.
