Supply Chain Manager
The Supply Chain Manager role is responsible for leading the Procurement, Replenishment, and Logistics arms of our Supply Chain team. This is at a state-of-the-art facility where great ideas are embraced and excellence is rewarded. Reporting directly to our Director of Supply Chain, this is a full-time, on-site position at our facility. Remote work is not available for this role.
Your Responsibilities:
- Lead strategic planning to optimize supply and transportation logistics, ensuring products are always where they need to be.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across Engineering, Operations, Sales, Sourcing, Product Development, and Maintenance.
- Utilize your critical thinking skills to drive operational excellence while leveraging our robust procurement system.
- Solve complex supply chain challenges with innovative solutions.

How you will determine your performance:
- Analyze business and inventory data to understand performance drivers, predict outcomes, and generate insights.
- Use data-driven insights to shape inventory strategies and improve business decisions.
- Become a strategic partner by collaborating across internal teams, assessing business performance, identifying opportunities for improvement, and devising solutions.
- Ensure the accuracy of demand forecasting and identify key monthly opportunities.
- Maintain KPI reporting and accuracy of item-level data.
- Establish and maintain scorecards for annual goals, focusing on critical KPIs such as on-time/in-full delivery and inventory availability.
- Anticipate and resolve vendor or supply chain issues before they escalate.
Essential Functions:
- Purchase raw materials and finished goods based on production schedules, inventory levels, and cost.
- Negotiate contracts with carriers and logistics providers.
- Collaborate with internal teams to expedite deliveries and resolve any production or quality issues.
- Manage contracts with vendors for small package, LTL, truckload, and container shipping.
- Oversee the documentation and record-keeping processes to ensure compliance with company standards.
Typical Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or a related field with 4+ years of relevant experience, OR 6+ years of experience in business management, merchandising, or a similar field.
- Previous experience leading supply chain teams is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in MRP operating principles is required.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills, with experience working with suppliers, vendors, and logistics partners.
- Familiarity with import/export processes and associated documentation is strongly preferred.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with a proven ability to manage large data sets and make informed decisions.
