Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement supply chain strategies to enhance operational efficiency.
Manage procurement processes to ensure the timely sourcing of materials.
Coordinate logistics and transportation activities for optimal delivery schedules.
Analyze inventory levels to maintain appropriate stock and minimize excess.
Collaborate with suppliers and vendors for negotiations and contract management.
Lead a team of supply chain professionals and coordinate their efforts.
Monitor performance metrics and make recommendations for improvement.
Utilize data analysis to forecast demand and adjust supply plans accordingly.
Implement cost-saving initiatives throughout the supply chain.
Ensure compliance with regulations and quality standards in the supply chain.
Oversee the integration of technology solutions for supply chain management.
Serve as the main point of contact for supply chain-related issues among internal departments.
Conduct risk assessments and develop strategies to mitigate supply chain risks.
Prepare and present reports on supply chain performance to senior management.
Stay updated with industry trends and best practices for continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related field.
Master's degree or MBA preferred.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain management.
Proven experience in logistics, procurement, and inventory management.
Strong analytical skills with expertise in data analysis tools.
Experience managing teams and leading cross-functional projects.
Proficiency in supply chain software and ERP systems.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Familiarity with regulatory compliance and quality assurance processes.
Knowledge of lean manufacturing and process improvement methodologies.
Strong negotiation skills and vendor management experience.
Problem-solving mindset with strategic thinking capabilities.
Willingness to travel for supplier visits and industry conferences.
Certifications in supply chain management (e.g., APICS, SCMP) are a plus.
