Job Title: Supply Chain Manager
Position Overview: The Supply Chain Manager oversees and optimizes the entire supply chain process, including procurement, inventory management, logistics, and demand planning. This role involves developing strategies to enhance supply chain efficiency, reduce costs, and improve quality standards. The Supply Chain Manager works closely with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery, adequate supply, and seamless integration of supply chain operations. Leadership and analytical skills are crucial for driving continuous improvement and aligning operations with organizational goals.

Qualifications:
· Education:
o Required: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field
o Preferred: Certification in Supply Chain Management
· Experience:
o Minimum of 5 years in supply chain, materials management, or operations in an industrial setting, with a preference for manufacturing or warehouse environments
o Prior leadership experience in a similar role is preferred
· Skills and Abilities:
o Strong understanding of supply chain principles, including scheduling, procurement, logistics, and inventory management
o Proficiency in supply chain software and data analysis tools
o Effective negotiation and communication skills for managing supplier and stakeholder relationships
o Ability to work collaboratively across departments and manage multiple projects simultaneously
o Solid analytical and problem-solving skills to address challenges and optimize processes
Key Responsibilities:
· Supply Chain Strategy:
o Develop and implement strategies to align with the company’s goals and improve supply chain efficiency
o Analyze and optimize supply chain processes to minimize costs and enhance performance
· Vendor Management:
o Establish supplier evaluation standards and maintain strong relationships with suppliers
o Negotiate terms and contracts to secure favorable pricing and conditions
o Assess market trends to ensure competitive pricing and supply stability
· Inventory Management:
o Set inventory KPIs and monitor stock levels to balance supply and demand
o Implement inventory control systems to optimize stock organization, reduce excess, and maintain cost efficiency
· Logistics Coordination:
o Oversee logistics operations, including shipping and receiving, for timely and cost-effective material and product delivery
o Streamline processes to reduce material handling and enhance processing efficiency
· Demand Forecasting:
o Collaborate with sales and production teams to create accurate demand forecasts
o Analyze trends and historical data to anticipate supply needs
· Compliance and Risk Management:
o Ensure adherence to relevant regulations and industry standards
o Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, including potential disruptions
· Cross-Functional Collaboration:
o Partner with production, quality assurance, and finance teams to ensure seamless operations
o Lead or participate in initiatives for continuous improvement across departments
· Performance Metrics:
o Establish and monitor KPIs to assess supply chain performance
o Report on key metrics and improvement initiatives to executive management
o Set expectations and hold department personnel accountable to achieve desired results
Physical Requirements: This position may require occasional lifting of up to 35 pounds and regular standing, sitting, and hand use. Specific vision abilities include close and distance vision, depth perception, and color vision.
Work Environment: The work environment is a manufacturing setting, often involving exposure to loud noises, fumes, airborne particles, and occasionally, caustic chemicals.
