Overview
PSV is currently looking for an experienced Supply Coordinator to support our Ambulatory Surgery Center. This role is a full-time position working 40 hours a week, located in Fairfax, VA. This position is scheduled to work Monday - Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm.

The Pediatric Specialists of Virginia (PSV) Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) brings the expertise of surgical specialists from our area’s world-class pediatric institutions to a child-centered, convenient, outpatient surgery center in Northern Virginia.
Job Description:
- Under the direction of the Nurse Manager, manage inventory levels to meet demand while minimizing carrying costs to the Ambulatory Surgery Center.
- Update and maintain database records and other files on equipment purchases, users, repairs, warranties and manuals; develop and implement guidelines for maintaining inventory levels and reorder points
- Use publications to review and research products, accessories, options, prices, and availability of items; analyze and compare cost
- Coordinate supply chain activities and ensure timely delivery of goods to meet unit requirements.
- Schedule and monitor purchase orders through a procurement process.
- Communicate with suppliers regarding lead time, order status, and delivery schedules.
- Conduct inventory counts and ensure proper storage and handling
- Serve as liaison between ASC teams and suppliers
- Identify cost-saving opportunities
- Manage incoming goods, address product recalls and backorders
- Resolve any issues or discrepancies with suppliers
- Cross train in other areas of the department including front desk and patient transport.
Minimum Qualifications Required
- High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)
- At least one (1) year of experience as a supply coordinator or related role
- Routinely works a minimum of forty (40) hours per week
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word and Outlook)
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate with both internal and external departmental contacts
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Experience with medical terminology
All employees must pass an employment TB, drug and physical exam

- Understanding of quality control processes and procedures
