Responsibilities :
- SummaryAssists customers in choosing durable or home medical equipment as prescribed by physicians in person, by phone, and other methods of communication
- Measures and fits for custom and non-custom orthotics, vascular garments, and mastectomy products
- Monitors inventory of medical supplies
- Job DutiesAssists customers in their selection of medical equipment and supplies
- Receives inventory, labels prices/costs, and places in appropriate areas
- Performs quality control, property management, and repair parts management
- Advises and educates customers in the purchase and selection of products
- Assists patients and customers at the pharmacy or upon request by phone
- Monitors stock levels and submits purchase orders to various manufacturers
- Ensures pre-authorizations are obtained and billing is done in a timely manner
- Assists in the coordination of the equipment repair process and maintains inventory
- Minimum QualificationsHigh School Diploma/GED 2 years of experience in customer service
- Knowledge of basic computer programs such as Word, Excel, and email
