Required Skills/Experience
Experience with Any of the Following is a Plus
Knowledge of Headend components / functions is a plus
Knowledge of how CPE devices function at the SOC or driver level is desirable
Knowledge of MSO Headend components / functions this is optional
Analytical and development skills with embedded software on CPE video devices and some driver level knowledge
Knowledge of software development methodologies and processes
Some knowledge and/or working experience with scripting and programming languages. Must be able to write, read, interpret and review.

Responsibilities
- Use the latest tools and techniques to complete day to day tasks
- Led efforts to improve functional quality, performance and stability of CPE video devices (Aloha/DAVIC)
- Develop , review and support product test plans to support business, functional and integration needs
- Develop and support the creation of use cases from Product Specs and other technical documents
- Support automation plans and product test groups including defect analysis and recommendations
- Create and support efficient processes for faster, higher quality releases
- Contribute feedback and guidance to the development of functional and technical specifications for customer premises devices
- Work with other developers, integration engineers and device product engineers to help set standards and define best practices for system configuration and test normalization and automation.
- Effectively communicate and collaborate with different team members towards the creation and implementation of features that do not negatively impact core requirements and other product integration.
- Troubleshoot digital cable settop issues in a lab environment
- Drive multiple vendors roadmaps to align with Comcast business/technical needs

Required Skills/Experience
- Digital Cable Set Top Boxes and Platform Operation/Troubleshooting /Support
- Experience with data collection & tracking, centralizing data from Excel in databases and in creating reports
- Knowledge of video or cable industry
- Knowledge of how CPE devices function at the SOC or driver level
- Unit test frameworks / automation
